How to Get to Central Anatolia, TurkeyFrom Istanbul TO AnkaraAnkara airport is reachable with frequent daily flights from Istanbul, .USD 70 per person one way on Turkish Airlines. You can take overnight sleeping wagon train to Ankara from Istanbul. USD 30 per person one way based on on double occupancy. Bus services runs every half an hour , USD 25 per person. Ulusoy and Varan bus companies are suggested.
From Istanbul TO Cities in the Cappadocia RegionKayseri airport is located in Cappadocia, and about one hour drive to Urgup, Goreme most important towns in the region. There is one daily flight from Istanbul to Kayseri on Turkish Airlines.
Bus services runs frequently, and is about USD 35 per person.
Train is not suggested, as it is a really slow way getting to Cappadocia, except the special touristic services organized by the State Railways
running a few times a year. From Ankara TO cities in CappadociaBus is the only feasible way to go. Prices are under USD 10 per person:
Nevsehir: 4 hours From Urgup or Goreme (Cappadocia) TOBus is the only feasible way to go. You can also fly back to Istanbul from Kayseri airport and take a connecting flight to the below listed cities.
